Island- we aren't putting a sink in here- I wanted a big uninterrupted work area that can also be an area for eating.
Back of island- this will house the extra oven and the microwave. We still haven't found the "perfect" top for the island- I am leaning towards a really thick dark chocolate colored walnut slabs we have- it is at the bottom of all the lumber piles, though- so probably a piece of plywood until we can get to it!
Another feature I really like- a gas cut off that is seperate from the range that was easy to get to "just in case".
More soapstone- and that awesome deep window sill- lovin' it!
